Join us for a special library conference where eresources and Austin collide in perfect harmony from March 1 – 4, 2026. We’re calling it ER&L Fest, and it’s your community eresources management and digital services library conference with a colorful festival vibe.

ER&L believes great things happen when eresources, digital services, and related library industry folks come together, meet, learn, and have some fun along the way. 

  • ER&L Online is an All Access Pass: All peer-reviewed content will be available to watch online. Some content will be live-streamed, with other sessions available as on-demand content after the conference. 
  • Connect With Your Community: Join one of the daily online networking opportunities for real-time connection with other eresource professionals.
  • Consume Content on Your Schedule: All of the recorded content will be available for 12 months after the conference. Interested in 2 sessions at the same time? Got pulled into a meeting last minute? No problem! Come back to the platform anytime until March 2027 to watch the sessions.

Post-Conference Workshop Add-On

An asynchronous course has been added to the available programming for online conference attendees. The following course will host a kickoff during the conference, with live office hours afterward. The course will include ~4 hours of pre-recorded content and live office hours. Participants can watch the course videos at their own pace and on their own schedule. During the live office hours, you will have the opportunity to communicate with the instructor and interact with other attendees who join the call.

  • Course Kickoff: Wednesday, March 4, 12:30-1:00 PM
  • Course Content: A series of 20-30 minute pre-recorded instructional videos to be consumed on your own schedule at your own pace
  • Office Hours #1: Wednesday, March 11, 10:00 AM 
  • Office Hours #2: Wednesday, March 18, 1:00-2:00 PM 

Authentication and Authorization Fundamentals: Identity Management, Authentication Systems, Browser Technicalities, and Troubleshooting

Hands-on workshop walks through all components of resource access, including identity management, authentication, and authorization, and browser technology. Compare systems and discuss considerations for choosing among options. Map your institution’s systems and feel confident supporting all stages of users’ access journey: troubleshooting, communicating among stakeholders, and planning and implementing changes.
