This was EBSCO's response when we asked them if they minded that we had posted the notes:
"We collect this information for our customer's use. We have a department
working on gathering this type of information and feel that it's ours for
use by authorized EBSCONET customers. We hope you won't mind removing the
EBSCONET notes from the spreadsheet."

I asked Laura to go ahead and remove the notes from the spreadsheet. IMO, there's no need to create animosity with our subscription agent. I could certainly see where copyright might be an issue for this, which is why we checked it out with them in the first place.

And why did you comply with their request? Is there some proprietary information that they didn't want out in the public? I don't understand why it would be removed just because they asked.

It is blank no more - sometimes putting in hard returns/newlines/cr's in individual cells confuses the spreadsheet mightily. It's been rolled back to the oct 5 version sans ebsco - and I'm still interested as to why it was removed, too.
